An alumni association is the reflection of its past and the mirror of the future. It is formed by former students of the college and the primary functions include: maintaining a connection between the institution and its alumni, fostering a sense of community among graduates and supporting the institution’s goals. The alumni association helps current students by mentoring and helping them choose the right career. Efforts are continuously made by the college administration to involve all the former students of the college. The college has registered its Alumni Association on 28th March, 2023 as ALUMNI ASSOCIATION RAJIV GANDHI GOVERNMENT COLLEGE SAHA.
To celebrate the success and achievements of the past students, the first Alumni meet of our college was organised on 29th September, 2018. Sharing the aims and objectives of the Alumni association, former students were invited for an interactive sharing session. The meeting was successful and a lot of students got themselves registered. It was also decided that such meetings will be organised annually. However, due to various reasons such as corona pandemic, the Alumni meet could not be organised for the past three years.
To revive this tradition, an alumni meet was organised on 10th September, 2022 and alumni were invited to participate in it. Alumni Meet was also organised 05 March 2024 and 01 August 2024. Alumni are also invited on all college events such as Sports Day, Lohri, Republic Day and Independence Day. 
In Alumni association, every alumni member has been given a role which has been decided after personally meeting with each student and implementing transparent system. In the future, we will continue to strive to ensure that the alumni association functions effectively and continues to succeed in the coming times.
