Infrastructure
. Gandhi Govt. College Saha (Ambala) has excellent infrastructure in terms of
classrooms, teaching and laboratories,
Main Library and departmental libraries,
canteen, Multipurpose Hall,
administrative block, play grounds, gymnasia, Staff room , power back-up
facility, health centre, sewage treatment plant, etc. The total built area of
our college is 33700 sq mtr. Adequate infrastructure facilities are
keys to effective and efficient conduct of educational program. The college is having well-lit 16 Classrooms,
06 smart classroom well equipped with Computer Panels with digitalized smart
LED and projectors ,Computer labs (02) has 50 computers that are well equipped
with internet facilities , Language lab has 25 working computer with software
Clarity and headphones that helps in learning of language skills. The institute
has an Internet Services of Jio4G with a speed of 100 MBPS in all computers.
Geography Lab, Psychology lab, Physics, Chemistry, Botany Zoology labs are also
well equipped. College has a well furnished fully equipped, maintained and
automated library with seating capacity of 100 students and contains 9480 books (textbooks, other books) 04
monthly magazine and 06 newspaper in English, Punjabi and Hindi languages are subscribed by the college.
The institute is dedicated to offer health benefits to students through well
equipped gymnasium and sports room, Table Tennis Room, Football ,Volley Ball
,cricket and carom facility, Yoga Room and a well maintained Sports ground with
size 400*380 sq.mtr.
This college also has NSS unit as well
as NCC Sub-unit with 100 Volunteers and 53 NCC Cadets. Health Care room looks
after the medical needs of the students and employees. The institute has been
very considerate towards differently-abled students and has provided ramps in
the entire building. Students with special needs are provided separate
examination rooms in case of students with visual impairment. Separate toilets
for differently -abled students and staff are also available. For girl students we have a Girls common room
that provide them extra space and privacy. The institute has a running canteen facility
for students and staff. All admissions at present are being made online by
department of higher education Haryana.
